With more than four miles of mountain bike trails ranging from easy to rigorous, it’s very clear to see why Fisher Farm Park is so popular with the pedal-powered set. But cycling trails aren’t all this place has to offer. This green space is so spacious, that you may want to bring your GPS. It has ample room for dogs to blow off steam, and is a wonderful spot for nature watching, too.
At Forest Park Playground, little ones will find plenty to get excited about. There’s a playground with a swing set, enchanting wooded paths, shaded picnic tables, and a small wetland area where local critters make occasional appearances.
At Faulkner Square, you typically won’t find gallivanting children or barking dogs. What you will find, however, is a quiet, tastefully decorated formal garden square with a quaint decorative trellis, and planting beds that bloom throughout the spring and summer.
